In 2012 the G20 was held from May 9th to May 11th  in Puebla, Mexico. The meeting adopted international multilateral conference rules. Delegates focused on 7 issues including economic stability and financial inclusion, international trade, strengthening food security and dealing with fluctuations in commodity prices, to promote sustainable development, green growth and to deal with climate change, youth employment, global governance and to strengthen multilateral organizations and the future of the G20. During the meeting, Felipe Calderon, President of Mexico, met with young delegates from different countries and communicated with them about relevant issues. The meeting adopted the Y20 Youth Conference Agreement, which elaborated on the common attitude and opinions of young people around the world on the above issues. The final results were submitted to the G20 summit.



The 2013 G20 Youth Summit was held in Saint Petersburg in Russia from June 18th to June 20th, 2013 in order to address major imbalances in the areas of global finance and sustainable development.  Specifically, 2013Y20 proposed 8 related agendas which are 1) finding a new design for international financial organizations; 2) strengthening financial regulation; 3) reforming international capital markets; 4) regulating government borrowings and monetary policy; 5) social policy optimization; 6) energy efficiency; 7) infrastructure development; and 8) food security and environmental protection. There were altogether 160 delegates from G20 member states and observer countries.



The 2014 G20 Youth Summit was held in Sydney, Australia from July 12th to July 15th, 2014. The summit discussed growth and job creation, global citizenship and mobility, and sustainable development. There were 100 delegates from G20 member states participating in the summit. During the summit, delegates experienced the natural and human environment of Australia, where they wore Australian national costume and exchanged ideas and presents with regional representatives.



The 2015 G20 Youth Summit was held in Istanbul, Turkey from August 16th to August 21st, 2015. The Summit shared their priority themes with 2015G20 and exposed youth perspectives on issues such as the impact of technology and innovation on youth unemployment, young people’s contribution to peace, and young people and education in the 21st century. Besides hot discussion on these topics, young delegates from different backgrounds experienced the cultures and customs of Turkey. At the end of the summit, delegates reached a Y20 Summit Communiqué which was put forward as an affiliated achievement of 2015G20.
